Marco Parlangeli

Degree with honors in Economic and Bank Sciences from the University of Siena. Business finance stage at the Bocconi University, department of business finance, with Prof. B. Rossignoli.

Collaborations as teacher at several Italian universities for seminars and workshops about problems concerning bank groups, the third sector, staff training and management. Upon working as executive in charge of the Group coordination and holdings office at Monte dei Paschi di Siena bank general management, he was assigned to the Fondazione Monte dei Paschi di Siena and later appointed Administrative Director. Responsibility for fiscal and accounting matters, staff management, strategic assets management.

Since June 2003, he has been Chief Executive Officer of Fondazione Monte dei Paschi di Siena and Member of the Board of Directors of Fondazione Accademia Chigiana and Member of the policy board of Fondazione Ravello.

He has been President of Siena Biotech since May 2004.
