Piero Tosi

Prof. Piero Tosi is Full Professor of Anatomy and Pathological Histology.

He was Rector of the University of Siena and President of the Italian Rectors’ Conference.

He is also Member of the Editorial Committee of “Analytical and Quantitative Cytology and Histology," Chicago, USA and of various Scientific Societies: Italian Society of Pathological Anatomy and Cytopathology; European Society of Pathology; Italian Division of the International Academy of Pathology; European Society for Analytical Cellular Pathology; International Society of Diagnostic and Quantitative Pathology.

He is also a Revisor for the reviews:  “The American Journal of Pathology," Bethesda, MD, USA; “Cytometry," Wiley-Liss, New York, NY, USA; “Analytical Cellular Pathology," Elsevier Scientific Publishers Ireland Ltd., Co. Clare," Ireland; “The Cancer Journal," Vallejo, France; “International Journal of Cancer," UICC, Lausanne, Switzerland; “Human Pathology," W.B. Saunders Company, UK; “Journal of Submicroscopic Cytology and Pathology," Siena, Italy; “Journal of Analytical and Quantitative Pathology."

He is the author of 260 publications,and text books on Pathological Anatomy.
